Description

Old City Hall’s clocktower was originally built with four sandstone gargoyles. Over time, exposure to the elements led to damage including chunks of stone falling to the street below. The gargoyles were removed for safety in 1938. In 2002, replicas made of aluminum treated to look like stone were installed.
