Description
Tour participants learn about the history of College Park and the building's architecture. Eaton’s bought the surrounding land between 1910 and 1928, and planned to develop the largest office and retail complex of its time in North America. With the onset of the Great Depression, only 7 of the 32 floors were completed. Much of the materials used in the original Classical and Art Deco construction, as well the architects, Sproatt and Rolph, were Canadian.
